There are three ways to place orders for print format books directly with us:

1. Online Ordering

An easy-to-use and secure online system is provided for customers from anywhere in the world. Simply follow the screen prompts on each page to order.

Select a product from the index on our Books page or use the search function found at the top right of the page
Choose a product to purchase by selecting its BUY NOW or PRE-ORDER button
If you have a promotional code enter it in the 'Promo Code' field and select APPLY
If you would like to pay using a CSIRO Publishing gift voucher, enter the voucher number and select APPLY
Choose your shipping method from the drop-down menu (Standard, Express Post)
Your order total will update automatically. If you are happy to proceed, select the CHECKOUT button
Enter your contact and delivery details then select the PROCEED TO PAYMENT button
Enter your payment details and select the SUBMIT ORDER button to finalise your order

2. Telephone

Place with your order by telephone by calling +[61 3] 9545 8555 or 1300 788 000 (local call rate in Australia)

Alternatively support your favourite bookshop or online retailer.

Returns

If you have received a faulty (e.g. misbound or misprinted) or damaged product ordered from CSIRO Publishing, please email our Customer Service Team csiropublishing @csiro.au with the name of the book, your invoice number and any other relevant details describing the defect. Alternatively, if you are in Australia, you can contact our Customer Service Department on 1300 788 000 for assistance.
Otherwise, if you are not completely satisfied with any product ordered from CSIRO Publishing, please email our Customer Service Team csiropublishing@csiro.au or call 1300 788 000 (in Australia) within 14 days of receipt of your purchase to arrange return and refund or exchange. We are unable to provide a refund or exchange for products that are not returned in saleable condition.
